For 30 years, the Toronto Met Film Festival (TMFF) has been a week-long film festival created by students, for students. As one of Canada’s largest student-run film festivals, we spotlight emerging filmmakers as they pursue their next steps into the industry, providing opportunities to learn and grow throughout the course of our festival.
TMFF packs a week full of panels with industry professionals, different archival and current film showcases, and culminates in two nighttime screenings of this year’s Image Arts 2026 Thesis Films. Each film in the diverse lineup of several screenings showcases the bold, adventurous, and passionate films from all over The Creative School and Image Arts. At its core, TMFF is a celebration of student filmmaking and the broader Toronto Arts community.
